BRIEF: for the contest was to create an illustration to accompany a text by Belgian writer Amélie Nothomb. The text discusses how, in this historical moment full of conflicts, the idea of Europe is being lost.
SOLUTION: I proposed highlights the importance of literature as the foundation of the unity of peoples in Europe. I aimed to emphasize the importance of literature, underlining the foundations of the unity of peoples. A united Europe cannot exist without a shared humanistic culture. In this representation, books transform into palaces, and the flag of the European Union becomes a soft trampoline to leap from and land on without getting hurt.

IL BRIEF: partecipare al contest realizzando un'illustrazione ideata per accompagnare un testo firmato dalla scrittrice belga Amélie Nothomb che racconta come, in questo momento storico pieno di conflitti, l’idea di Europa si stia perdendo. Solo la cultura, attraverso i grandi scrittori e i padri fondatori, potrà salvarla e dare nuova linfa all’Unione di Stati.

Così i libri diventano palazzi e la bandiera dell'Unione Europea un trampolino morbido su cui saltare e atterrare senza farsi male.
